SCS Math Team Introductory Overview

Is public school math too easy for your student?  Or maybe your student needs a little extra math help?  Although we are a Chinese school, we offer a range of Singapore/AOPS math classes to bolster math confidence and encourage math enthusiasm!  Here are some reasons to study math at Chinese school:

• carefully selected curriculum - Singapore math goes from concrete to conceptual and teaches problem solving reasoning and logic from the get go; AOPS texts offer clear and in depth explanations and gives students the opportunity to practice with a range of elegantly designed problems from practicing basic principles to pushing students to extend their thinking and making connections
• dedicated and experienced teachers - our math teachers include a college math professor, a data scientist, a statistician, a molecular pharmacologist, and a math contest veteran (as this list demonstrates, math is the necessary foundation for many rewarding career paths!)
• small class sizes - students receive more attention and in-class practice opportunities
• convenience - no need to drive your student to yet another extracurricular
