Course Description


Chinese For Kindergartener - I:
  • Pre-requirement : Age 3 – 5. No Chinese background is required
  • Description:
    This course will focus on the speaking, such as tones and sentence structure on the daily conversation. The teacher will conduct the practice with different group games and activities. The student will also learn certain reading skill.

Chinese For Grade K - II :
  • Pre-requirement : Age 4 – 5. No Chinese background is required
  • Description:
    This course will focus on the speaking, such as tones and sentence structure on the daily conversation. The teacher will conduct the practice with different group games and activities. The student will also learn certain reading skill.

Chinese For Grade K - III :
  • Pre-requirement : Age 5 – 6. No Chinese background is required
  • Description:
    This course will focus on the speaking, such as tones and sentence structure on the daily conversation. The student will build the reading via Children’s poems and simple stories. They will also learn writing Chinese words by tracing. The objection is to master 40+ words.
  • Text Book: Ren's text book
Chinese For Grade 1 :
  • Pre-requirement : Age 6 – 7. Finished Chinese For Grade K – III or is able to recognize 100 character and to write 20 characters. Being able to understand Chinese as teacher speaks.
  • Description:
    This course is the beginning level of reading and writing. Speaking is also part of the curriculum. The writing strokes and sequence will be introduced and re-enforced throughout the school year. PinYin might be introduced debased on the student’s ability of differiation between PinYin and English. The objection is to master 140+ new words.

Chinese As the Second Language (CSL) for Grade 3–5 – Level I :
  • Pre-requirement : Grade 3 -- 5. No Chinese Background is required.
  • Description: The class is taught in both Chinese and English
    These classes are designed for the elementary students who are the non-mandarin speaking families to develop the basic skills of Chinese Language. The students will develop speaking, reading, and writing skill in this class. The writing strokes will be introduced quickly. Then the vocabulary and writing will be built up along with the text content and the frequent-used sentence types.

Chinese As the Second Language (CSL) for Grade 3–5 – Level II :
  • Pre-requirement : Grade 3 -- 5. Have taken the CSL Level I .
  • Description: The class is taught in both Chinese and English
    These classes are designed for the elementary students who are the non-mandarin speaking families to develop the basic skills of Chinese Language. Chinese As the Second Language (CSL) for Grade 6+ - Level III:
  • Pre-requirement : Age 12 and up. No Chinese Background is required.
  • Description: The class is taught in both Chinese and English
    This class is targeted the middle school and high school student. The curriculum combines Chinese language, history, and culture into one course so that the student will not only develop the basic Chinese language skill, but learn more about Chinese traditions and cultures.

YOGA (瑜珈课_瑜珈和普拉提):
  • 基础班:针对初学者和有一定基础的学员。 主要教授: 呼吸,平衡,拉身,腹部的收缩伸展运动,放松和基本姿势.
  • 高级班:针对有中等基础,寻求更高挑战的学员。主要教授: 各种瑜伽姿势的组合以及一定速度下有强度的连接.
Classic Chinese Dancing (中国舞蹈班):
    This class will teach the basic skills such as steps and postures of Chinese traditional dance.

    ( 教授中国古典舞,中国民间舞的一些基本形态,动作和舞步做为基本功,中国舞蹈班主要的是提高儿童文化素养和舞蹈鉴赏力,陶冶情操,为培养儿童少年情操起到潜移默化的作用 ).
    指导老师: 黄语红女士- 曾于广州少年宫和小学任音乐及舞蹈高级教师二十年,学生曾参加多次大型港,台艺术表演。现任教剑桥和牛顿中文学校舞蹈班十二年,学生曾参加多次中华舞蹈艺术比赛,获得二等奖。

Drawing Class (Bilingual teaching) :

  • Arts and Crafts ( 绘画工艺 ) : age 7 -9
  • Sketch: Age 7 -13
• Chinese Painting 中国畫(Age 8+)
    所教的是介乎工筆畫和意筆盡畫之間,稱之為半工意花烏畫,首先由淺入深教授一些中国畫的基夲笔法和表現技巧,繼而畫一些簡單的花烏,最後希望学員能够靠用自己学到的繪畫技法畫出構画較完整的中國畫。


Marshall Arts for Beginners
    The objective of Kung Fu training is to promote the study of the traditional Chinese Martial arts and the development of the physical, mental, and general well being of the students. The class will feature the Traditional Wah Lum Northern Praying Mantis Kung Fu, which includes Hand forms, Traditional Kung Fu exercises, Balance and flexibility Training, Two person forms and exercises, and History and theory of traditional Kung Fu. Advanced students will also learn weapons forms and self-defense and practical application.
